Target & Federated Print Ads
The holiday shopping season is in full swing! As such, it’s becoming more and more commonplace to see video games pop up in commercials and print ads. This week both Federated and Target advertised the NES in the Orange County Register newspaper (southern California).

Both stores feature one of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on the Deluxe Set: $129.99. This is a great bundle for those wanting all of the accessories Nintendo is offering. It comes packaged with the NES Control Deck, Duck Hunt, Gyromite, two controllers, the Zapper light gun, and R.O.B. the interactive robot. Purchasing this bundle represents a huge saving over buying each item individually (well over $200).

Target also has a bunch of Game Paks on sale too, with Donkey Kong Jr., Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., and Popeye hitting the lowest pricing yet for games on the NES: $17.99. For $21.99 you can get the amazing Super Mario Bros. – a must-have game for the NES. Even newer games like Mach Rider are $5 off. Now is a great time to throw a little more fun in those stockings! Don’t wait too long to take advantage of these deals. We’re hearing of some store shortages already taking place in parts of the country, so grab one early.
