November 1986 Issue Of Computer Entertainer

The November, 1986 issue of Computer Entertainer newsletter has arrived and it’s filled with games, as one would expect leading into the holiday season. Video games have made a huge resurgence this year with the Nintendo Entertainment System finally available nationwide and a multimillion dollar advertising campaign underway. In addition, Atari is sort of back with its 7800 and newcomer Sega has its Master System. Game players have plenty of options this Christmas!

In this month’s issue, the reviewers at Computer Entertainer reviewed Balloon Fight, Urban Champion, and Ninja Kid for the NES. Read these and more in the November 1986 edition of Computer Entertainer.

Computer Entertainer Review Guidelines:

THE RATING SYSTEM:

4 SYMBOLS = EXCELLENT

3 SYMBOLS = GOOD

2 SYMBOLS = FAIR

1 SYMBOL = POOR

♦ = ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMS (1st set of diamonds = quality of graphics; 2nd set = quality of game play and entertainment value)

Any program for a given system is compared only to other programs for the same system. In other words, all C64-compatibles are judged separately from Apple. Some programs, which are virtually identical for multiple systems, will be so noted. When we review software for more than one system, we will note differences and which system we reviewed.
