Super Mario Maker Update Is Live

Nintendo previously announced that Super Mario Maker would be receiving an update, and it is now live. Version 1.2.0 is roughly 315MB in size and allows designers to place checkpoints in the levels to make the courses a bit easier to digest. In addition, Nintendo has a featured section for event courses that they’ve handpicked or created themselves for players to try out.

Although the update has only been available for a few hours today, people are already discovering secrets. Watch the video below from Gamexplain to see who waits behind the doors.

In addition, Nintendo has some new levels to try out. One course allows you to play as Totem Link from the recently released Tri Force Heroes. Another has you playing on some of the levels featured on Game Center, a Japanese show. These two trailers are from Nintendo of Japan and show off some of the details.
