Animal Crossing 15th Anniversary Video

Originally released in Japan for the Nintendo 64, Animal Crossing is now officially 15 years old. To celebrate, Nintendo has put together a video showcasing all of the games that have come out in the series. I have fond memories of playing many of the games in the series. The GameCube version will always remain special for me because it was the first one released in the U.S. and I had a blast playing it with my roommate. Plus, it had the NES games that you could acquire, which was a really awesome feature.

I know I can’t be the only one disappointed that we never got a true sequel on the Wii U. It would have been perfect with the HD graphics, second screen interactions, and off-TV play. I hope Nintendo has one waiting in the wings for the NX.
