Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is almost upon us. It will hit stores and the eShop this Friday, December 2. It features most of the same creation tools and sharing features that its big brother on the Wii U has. The one glaring omission is the ability to upload your created levels to the Internet to be downloaded by others to play. Instead, levels can be shared locally via StreetPass.
There will be plenty to play, however, as many of the courses created by Wii U owners will be available on the 3DS version as well. Nintendo has also included a multitude of levels on the cartridge and has even added a challenge mode to make things interesting.
For more information on the game, be sure to check out our preview. It has more videos and screens that are sure to make the wait seem even longer.
