VIDEO: Fallon Plays Super Mario Run & Debuts Zelda On Nintendo Switch

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon was lucky enough to get to play Super Mario Run early with a little help from Reggie. The big surprise came toward the end though, when Reggie revealed that Jimmy would get to be one of the first people ever to try out the Nintendo Switch. This marks the first time we’ve seen it demoed live, and the game he got to play was none other than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

I’m sure people are already analyzing every second of the video to see if there’s any information to be gleaned. If anything major is uncovered, we will definitely update with the information. For now, watch the clip for yourself and be entertained! Remember, that Nintendo will take the gloves off on January 12, 2017 with a live conference from Japan detailing release date, price, and launch lineup. It will follow that up with a hands-on press event on January 13 – so expect tons of new information as those dates approach.

Super Mario Run is shown off at the beginning of this video. Just let the whole thing play if you want to watch that and the Switch. If you’re itching to get to the Switch portion, fast forward to about the 4:38 mark and you should be good to go!
