Last year EA took its booth out of the Los Angeles Convention Center and instead hosted its own EA Play event. This allowed gamers to check out the latest games from EA and gave them a bit more media time since they were hosting their own event.
That must have been a success because EA is doing it again this year. EA Play has moved forward a little, so now it will take place primarily before E3 even begins. The doors to E3 proper open up at June 13 and the event lasts for three days. However, EA Access is going to take place from June 10 through June 12 at The Hollywood Palladium. EA will have the event streamed live on EA.com.
Fans hoping to attend the EA Access event can sign up on the site right now to be the first to learn more. As the event approaches I’m sure EA will open up ticket access, which will most likely be free like last year.
