Friend of the site, Kris Fox is at the Nintendo New York store right now where they are less than 12 hours away from getting their hands on a Nintendo Switch. He estimates that over 200 people are already lined up. No word from the staff at the store as to how many systems they’ll have on-hand for tonight’s big launch.
In order to keep crowds at bay, the Switch kiosks have been turned off. Apparently it’s crazy busy in the store right now and they don’t need any more reasons to pack in more people.
For those in line at the Nintendo NY store, stay warm. They will be handing out wristbands at 5 p.m. and we’re pulling for each and every one of you to get one.

What’s your game plan? Did you have one pre-ordered or are you going to camp outside a store? Or do you just hope you’ll be able to waltz in tomorrow morning and grab one? Good luck to everyone hoping to purchase one!
