VIDEO: Seiken Densetsu Collection Announced For Nintendo Switch

In Japan, the Nintendo Switch is getting a really cool compilation of Square Enix games with Seiken Densetsu Collection. For those unaware, the first game in the series was released on the original Game Boy as Final Fantasy Adventure in the U.S. The sequel was named Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo. The third iteration never made it to America, but we assume it would’ve been titled Secret of Mana 2 due to the previous title’s popularity.

All three games will come packaged on a single Game Card in Japan on June 1, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.  No word at this point if this one will make it stateside, but if it does it would mark the first time fans would get an official version of Seiken Densetsu 3. The Switch is region free, meaning you could easily import a copy, but we expect the text to be completely in Japanese, making it very difficult to enjoy without a localization. Here’s hoping Square Enix or maybe even Nintendo picks up the slack and brings this one over! In the meantime, check out the official Japanese site.
