Nintendo Switch Online Members Can Now Pre-Order NES Controllers

If you signed up for the Nintendo Switch Online membership you can now pre-order the special dual pack of NES controllers. These wireless controllers are in the shape of the classic NES pad and can charge by placing them on the sides of the Switch like a Joy-Con. The cost is $59.99 and there is a limit of 1 per Nintendo Account. The controllers will ship in mid-December. Having ordered a pair myself, I can verify there is a shipping charge ($5 for me) and tax, which brought the total to nearly $70. Go here to pre-order yours today!

Nintendo does e-mail the account holder that’s associated with the Nintendo Account with a confirmation number. If that e-mail is you, then he shouldn’t be notified. However, if it’s his e-mail on file then I don’t believe there’s any way around him being notified. You could check in with Nintendo’s customer support at 1-800-255-3700 to see if there is a way to keep it a surprise.
